February 24: - Paid phone bill - Made big kid undies for my shop

February 26: - Cut out some cloth wipes
February 27: - Made over 100 cloth wipes
February 28: - Garden Maintance - Made more cloth wipes
I'm very happy to say that I made my No Spend/Budgeted Days and Meals At Home Days goal Next month I hope I have more no spend days but there are a couple of things I need next month that wont be in the budget...grrrr.... So I already know it wont be a perfect No Spend month. I also hope that I meet my 20 days per month sewing days so I can put more items in my shop. Since it is getting warmer I hope to have more frugal days and start planting veggies in my garden. One big uh oh this month was gas... I wasn't expecting to spend over $120 in gas this month but I went over by almost $32. So next month it is getting raised to $240 since we will be doing a lot more driving.
How did you do this week?
I hoped this has inspired you to try a No-Spend Challenge. I will be doing this challenge for the rest of the year on mothering.com. It really does help you save and not spend money. Just try it for a month, what can you lose?

Food Waste Wednesday 2/27/13
Every Wednesday I will post a picture of food that has gone bad over the last seven days. This is to help motivate me not to waste food. Maybe from everyone else seeing all the food that is going bad will help me actually use it up before it does! And hopefully will motivate you to do the same.
This week I only had one thing go bad.... My strawberry salad. It may look good but it smells far from that and the bottom leaves are slimy. Yuck! If my darling husband didn't pour the salad dressing on the entire salad it would have lasted a lot longer. But we live and learn....I learned not to let my husband help me in the kitchen anymore.
What went bad in your refrigerator this week?
